<ANNA GRABKOWSKA> — HTGAA Spring 2026
About me
I’m a student at Carleton University studying Health Sciences with a concentration in Biomedical Science. I took part in the Tiny Earth Project aimed at addressing the antimicrobial resistance crisis by cultivating antibiotic producing bacteria from soil. I’m currently working on 3 promising strains of antibiotic producing bacteria.
I love the outdoors! The ocean, mountains, and forest trails are my happy place.
Something I hope to be addressed in Science in the near future is coral bleaching due to increasing ocean pollutants and temperatures.
