MIT Media Lab | HTGAA 2026

Hey there, welcome to my HTGAA page! My name is Flo. I’m a scientist, artist, and educator. I hold a PhD in Science from ETH Zurich and have expertise in neuroscience, animal physiology, biomedicine, imaging technologies, translational research, and psychopharmacology.

My work bridges science, art, design, and technology. My practice explores themes of identity, perception, consciousness, and the political body. My current main project explores scientific biases in menstrual and transgender health.

I’m the founder of the public engagement projects Zweigeist Berlin (Art & Neuroscience, 2015) and Lumenses Bioart (Bioart & Menstrual Health, 2017).
