I am Gun-Wu Kim, a researcher of traditional Korean alcohol working across electronic music, fermentation, and mycelium systems.
My practice treats fermentation not as a cultural artifact but as an organic, living system capable of structural reconfiguration.
I operate against bureaucratic logics that fix biological processes into stable categories, using rupture as a method to destabilize regulation, protocol, and inherited technical norms.
My current focus is on mycelium structures, explored as organic infrastructure rather than compliant material.
