Hi, I am Isobel, a multidisciplinary artist from the UK. I create objects and spaces inspired by particular ecologies.
At the core of my work is material sensation and embodied experience, using the qualities of materials, movement and interaction to encourage new ways of seeing and feeling our complex relationship with the natural world. In 2025, I graduated from Fabricademy at the Waag Futurelab in Amsterdam. There, I was introduced to amazing ways of working at the intersection of textiles, bio and digital fabrication and became enamored with the ethical, poetic and aesthetic potential of bio and living materials for the visual arts and design. I am looking forward to throwing myself into the deep end and being challenged to think in different and deeper ways. I am particularly interested in researching bio-engineering applications in speculative bio-design and how it can be used as a tool to explore, critique and reimagine possible futures and relationships with other species.
