About me

Hi everyone! I am Nicole, a ecuadorian recently graduated in Biotechnology engineering. Having had had hands-on experience on experimenting with bacterial transformation, bacterial sequencing and exposure to some of various techniques among the biomaterial design world along my educational journey has led me get more and more curious about how far we can push the limits of synthesizing new tools that can not only fill the gaps in science, but construct effective solutions. I’m intricated by many fields that biotechnology has potential on but one of them is developmental biology and regenerative medicine, since I believe that, as this is a wide field, it onvolves the use of analytical outputs to further build or redesign biological pipelines. Maybe by approaching developmental mysteries with synthetic biology we can understand better organisms development mechanisms and their evolution.
