Adé Larsen — HTGAA Spring 2026

About me
Hi! My name is Adé Larsen and I am a third-year undergraduate at MIT studying Biology and Finance. I wear a lot of hats on campus: I’m a captain of the Varsity Sailing team, an EMT first-responder with MIT-EMS, a TA for undergraduate physics, and a member of other communities I’ve taken interest in. This semester, I am working on a research project in the Church Lab at Harvard Medical School’s Department of Genetics, and I’m excited to develop my synthetic biology skills in HTGAA! I see biology as a tool to derive creative solutions to the world’s problems with particulat interests in adressing the climate crisis and growing energy problem.
