Ana Gomez — HTGAA Spring 2026
Ana Gomez - Biopunk Node (Committed Listener) 2026

🍄 About me

✨ Hi! I’m Ana Gómez, a biotechnology engineer from Ecuador with an interest in microbiology, molecular biology, and creative science communication.
🌱 I joined HTGAA because I want to expand my perspective beyond my undergraduate training and explore areas like synthetic biology and bioengineering. Additionally, learning how different disciplines can come together to solve real-world problems 🌍.
🧬 What defines me most is curiosity. I enjoy understanding living systems, especially microorganisms, and I’m passionate about translating scientific knowledge into accessible and creative formats. Alongside science, I’m also an artist, which shapes how I think, design, and approach research.
🧠 This website is a personal journal of my HTGAA journey. I hope you find it interesting, and if you’d like to know more about my process, projects, or reflections, you can visit my Notion workspace here:
