Model assumptions (transparent): Growth rate scales with media richness and temperature (peaks at 37°C). Pigment-per-cell follows the metabolic-competition tradeoff: high growth → lower per-cell yield. Fructose escapes catabolite repression → +25% pigment expression. pAC-LYC has 3 enzymes (less burden than pAC-BETA's 4). ±8% Gaussian noise added per run to mimic biological variability. Best theoretical condition: 2YT + fructose at 30°C.
