(minimum 150 words) • Should be a self-contained description of the project Bacteria can compute spatial patterns using chemical signals, the same way cellular automata compute patterns using rules. ->My project would build the bridge between a design tool that lets you specify a spatial rule (“cells switch state when neighbour density exceeds a threshold”) and translates it into an actual genetic circuit one could build.
