About me

I am a biological engineer and Research Scientist at The Ohio State University, where my research focuses on sustainable biomanufacturing and the conversion of renewable and waste-derived resources into valuable fuels, chemicals, and bioproducts. My work combines microbial biotechnology, fermentation, electro-fermentation, bioelectrochemical systems, and waste valorization. In this project, I am interested in developing an electro-fermentation platform that uses agricultural residues as a renewable feedstock for producing butanol through Clostridium beijerinckii. This approach integrates biological conversion with electrochemical control to develop a more sustainable and potentially scalable route for producing valuable biochemicals.
