<CHARLES NANEY> — HTBAA Fall 2026
About me
I am Charley Naney, a Ph.D. candidate in Bioscience at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where I study host–microbiome interactions, oxidative stress, aging, and spaceflight using computational and systems biology. Outside the lab, I raise goats, sheep, chickens, and turkeys. For HTBAA Fall 2026, I am exploring how biomanufacturing can turn a very practical farm problem—soiled hay and animal waste—into useful biological products.
