I like the idea of using light as a transmission mechanism, light by itself is faster than all other methods used for interstellar communication and encoding information using spectral differentiation makes sense. maybe one day we might be able to tune gravitational waves for higher accuracy in data transmission, but until that day light will provide the accuracy needed for our inference needs
