About me

I’m Mohamed Jaafar, based in Baghdad, Iraq. I hold a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Baghdad and work as an Electrical Engineer at an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) company in Iraq focused on energy systems.

Alongside engineering, I help running several ventures in Baghdad, the most prominent is Bil Weekend (بالعطلة), an Iraqi tour operator.

I’m taking How to Biomanufacture Almost Anything (HTBAA) to learn biomanufacturing. My goal is to complete a biology-related project that builds on and applies my background in control, and this site documents my weekly assignments and progress toward that project.
