About me

Hey :) I’m Wanqi (Yuki) Fang, a first-year MDes Ecologies student at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. I am coming from a culture, technology, and sustainable business background, with a focus on sustainability and the relationship between technological innovation, business, and environmental change.

My current interests are in biomaterials, manufacturing, and how sustainable materials can move beyond small-scale experimentation toward real-world production. I’m especially interested in how biology and new manufacturing technologies might create materials that can compete with conventional ones in performance, cost, and scalability.
