ADA YAZAN — HTGAA Spring 2026

About Me
Hello! I completed HTGAA just last year and trying to help out in BioClub Tokyo this year as a TA. I want to learn from HTGAA as much as I can this year as well. So far I have been amazed by the projects of everyone in BioClub, it is truly inspiring to hear about their ideas. My final project for HTGAA 2025 was the design of a biosensor sticker to identify plant pathogens utilizing the colour change properties of CNCs. I work where agricultural waste is repurposed into materials. With a background in materials science and nanoengineering, I’ve worked with antimicrobial nanomaterials and biodegradable polymers in the past. Now am pursuing a Master’s degree in Design, writing a thesis titled as “Methods of Designing Production Processes Repurposing Agricultural / Food Waste”.
